Travel journal

I had to use this colorful, whimsical fabric for another journal. There are pictures of famous architecture and modes of transport all over it. The end pages are cotton fabric also, with greetings printed in all kinds of languages. The first page of every signature is a vintage map from a Life encyclopedia circa 1960. The rest of the pages are white blank drawing paper. I used gray eyelets, and black linen thread to sew it together. Super cute! OOAK

I love the theme! Now that I have one of these journals of my very own--I leave it next to my desk so I can admire it throughout the day--I have new respect for the items in these photos!
