Popcorn with a kick!

I had to tell you all (all two of you that will read this) about this awesome spice topping from Mexico that transforms popcorn into the BEST treat! It's called Tajin and it's a mixture of red pepper, salt, and dehydrated lime juice. Anyway, you can sprinkle it on fruit or veggies and/or popcorn... and it is so tasty. It's my new favorite snack. I ordered it online from mexgrocer and wanted to recommend it. :D

I will try it. I have recently been making the spiced nuts recipe on Martha Stewart's website--cayenne, cumin, egg white, mixed up with any nuts and then baked--the kick is surprising and my husband is addicted. I know he is going to like the popcorn.

I did not know about MexGrocer.com--I thought we had an extensive selection of Mexican ingredients in our local grocery stores (lots of pears and grapes grown here), but I have never seen the Tajin seasoning, and I was also able to order some chipotle paste that I recently unsuccessfully tried to find for something I was trying. Thank you for that referral. Will report back with the popcorn results!
