Fabric and felt, together at last. I sewed some mini mushrooms into a little desk-top sculpture. All lovingly hand stitched, thus the wonkiness. :)

- My parents are both really hands-on type of people. Growing up, my Mom was always sewing or making music while my Dad was remodeling the house or wood working. I finally tried my hand at sewing and have really liked it so far. My kids really cheer me on! I am just getting into the book- binding hobby and think I have finally found my niche. These are gorgeously done! I am annoyed with myself I didn't realize I could run right over to Etsy to try to buy it when I first saw these mushrooms. :)
This is what I was looking at when I suggested a shoe or old fashioned boot for my mom. I have been away for a week and now cannot remember the thread we were using to discuss this. I have seen enough of your work to have complete confidence in your skills and talent. . .but if you do not want to, I understand. :)
