A little felt toy made from an Aranzi Aronzo pattern. My daughters LOVE it! So adorable, seriously, if you have a penchant for all things small and cute, get The Cute Book by these guys. You won't regret it. :)
Green and keen. Another mini notebook filled with 3x5 sized paper cut in half. I thought the stitching sorta looked like cactus spikes, true to the aloe plant, pretty cool. Raise your hand if you think it looks like a plant. (No it's not marijuana)
Okay, I'll admit, this one is a little weird. A totally spaced-out hammerhead shark, posing for a shot underwater. :) I had fun making it though. I love the end pages swirly blue fabric. One of a kind, that's for sure. lol
A swirly design made with a pink/orange/cream colored patch attached to a black stiffened felt tear shaped back. Black hemp string and silver latch for easy wear. Soft and durable, one of a kind.
I just had to use this fabric again! I love baby blue and brown together! Another hand bound journal with seven signatures of heavy drawing paper sewn in. Felt quail picture attached to the front. So fun to make! I am obsessing over fabric now...never thought I would be one of those people. :) It's all good!
Leafy cotton fabric on recycled hard covers with flowery end pages. Hand bound with linen waxed thread. Designed to lay flat when opened. Eight signatures of heavy drawing paper sewed in. I'm still trying to decide on what to sew onto the front. A bunny? A bear? Any suggestions? (I added a bunny after all)
Swirly pink and orange fabric covers a ceramic letter "J". I attached and sealed my three girls' photos on the front. It looks really cool in real life.
Made of felt and hand stitched, this is an old fashioned telephone patch attached to a stiffened felt notebook with neat branch cotton fabric end pages. Paper size is 3x5 cards cut in half. One of a kind. :)
Coptic stitch binding. Felt elephants in a row. Nine signatures of heavy drawing paper. Recycled hard bound covers with black and white cotton fabric recovering them.
My parents are both really hands-on type of people. Growing up, my Mom was always sewing or making music while my Dad was remodeling the house or wood working. I finally tried my hand at sewing and have really liked it so far. My kids really cheer me on! I am just getting into the book- binding hobby and think I have finally found my niche. Thanks for looking! :D
