Embroidery on Linen

My daughter helped me choose the embroidery thread that reminded us of a summer smoothie. I did a free form flower on the drive from Boise to Bend and then from Bend to Newport, OR. for a gathering with my sisters. It turned out pretty cool. Even though I am not a huge fan of pink in general, knowing that a smoothie inspired the colors makes it seem cooler.
Here I am at the ocean. I wish I could live there.

I found your lovely blog through Google. Here in Brazil the rainy season starts so now until March 2015 I must seek only dry kinds of craft so I try bookbinding and embroidery. I loved your embroidered cover blankbooks.
