Autumn journal

My camera isn't working that well. I love the colors of this one, reminds me of Autumn. Which is just around the corner, unbelievably. Mia turned five this week. Plus, we've had lots of fun with friends and cousins, so not a productive month for me. I hope after the reunion, I'll be able to get back into the swing of things...but then I start school too, so, we'll see.

Andromeda journal

Another sort of underwater looking journal. I really like the flowery fabric I used on the cover, reminds me of butterflies. The inside is of another cool fabric that reminds me of seaweed. Six signatures of heavy drawing paper are carefully hand sewn inside. :)

All of the above

My needle felted bowl, and the sprite I made last year inside. :)

The first edible plant I've ever grown, tomache. YAY!

A sort of underwater looking journal. Hand sewn with six signatures of blank drawing paper inside. I'm slacking on the journals these days...lots of ideas, not a lot to show for them...

Cashmere Puppy Softie

I upcycled an old cashmere sweater that the moths had gotten to. So incredibly snuggly! Really fun to touch and lots of fun to make. I used felt for the eye patches and the bottom. A vintage blue button I put on the collar. What a sweetie!

Cathedral Notepad

I couldn't bring myself to recover this old book cover, so I cut around the water damage and saved the rest for re-use. The size turned out to be 3X5 amazingly, so I added some pre-cut cards and viola! A unique notepad was born.

Green is great!

My favorite color. I think I will add a Monogram to the front of this for my G-ma's birthday present. Up-cycled book cover recovered in cotton-poly fabric. End pages have a purple flowery design. 120 pages in six signatures carefully hand stitched inside.

Looks like popcorn

I love this pattern! It's so crazy/cool! I think I will add a vintage movie projector patch...although I'm not sure if it would just confuse everybody. :)

Kitty softie

Hand sewn without a pattern (my design)...thus the wonkiness. Made of this crazy, thick, felted wool, then gray felt for the bottom/eyes. A wise looking kitty wearing a scarf! :)

Apple pie journal

Coptic stitched in six signatures. Apple cotton fabric covers a upcycled hard cover. End pages are a cool flowery pattern. A felt patch with a steaming hot apple pie is attached to the front. Would make a cool recipe book. :)

Converse mini notebook

And who doesn't like Chuck Taylor's?? Losers, that's who!! jk I upcycled a Cons shoe box into the cover of a mini notebook. Hand cut heavy black drawing paper is included. Totally refillable, 3x3.5 inches. You really gotta see it to appreciate it...

Owl Journal

I should get some better photos because this fabric is actually really cool. Another journal for the owl lover in your life. Six signatures of paper carefully hand sew in. The felt patch isn't attached yet...I can't decide if it really matches. ??

Flowery journal

I just love this Anna Marie Horner fabric for the cover of this journal! The inside is made of an Amy Butler design that is equally lovable. I hand sewed in six signatures of blank drawing paper. I don't know that I will add a patch to this one...I don't want to mess it up.

Mechani-Panda Felt mascot

A little felt toy made from an Aranzi Aronzo pattern. My daughters LOVE it! So adorable, seriously, if you have a penchant for all things small and cute, get The Cute Book by these guys. You won't regret it. :)

Aloe Vera plant mini notebook

Green and keen. Another mini notebook filled with 3x5 sized paper cut in half. I thought the stitching sorta looked like cactus spikes, true to the aloe plant, pretty cool. Raise your hand if you think it looks like a plant. (No it's not marijuana)

Mini shark notebook

Okay, I'll admit, this one is a little weird. A totally spaced-out hammerhead shark, posing for a shot underwater. :) I had fun making it though. I love the end pages swirly blue fabric. One of a kind, that's for sure. lol

3circles

A swirly design made with a pink/orange/cream colored patch attached to a black stiffened felt tear shaped back. Black hemp string and silver latch for easy wear. Soft and durable, one of a kind.

Luv-er-ly Quail

I just had to use this fabric again! I love baby blue and brown together! Another hand bound journal with seven signatures of heavy drawing paper sewn in. Felt quail picture attached to the front. So fun to make! I am obsessing over fabric now...never thought I would be one of those people. :) It's all good!
