Man/Woman upcycled notebook

A mini notebook made of recycled book covers. The image was too cool to re-cover, so I left it as is. Held together with a silver binder ring. Refillable.

Lone tree journal/sketch book

I keep going back to this tree image, it's the third time I've made it with felt. This time I put it on a hand bound journal. I recovered a discarded book cover with green denim and sewed in about 70 pages of blank off-white writing/drawing paper.

Cactus drawing/sketch book

Another hand bound book. Size is 3 1/2" x 6 1/2". Green stripey Upholstery fabric with sewn on photos of cactus we saw at the botanical gardens in Spokane. Made as a gift.

Beach drawing/sketch book

Upholstery covered recycled book cover carefully hand sewn with linen waxed thread. Includes seven signatures of heavy drawing paper. Material has a neat wavy pattern that reminded me of water so I sewed on a picture from our trip to the San Juan Islands in Washington. Very fun to touch!

Lake Erie journal

A vintage map of Lake Erie and Niagara Falls sewn to gray felt and attached to a black corduroy covered recycled book cover. The corduroy is awesome! Really fun to handle. Paper is heavy duty for writing, carefully hand sewn into the journal in seven signatures. So fun to make!

Supernova bead art

A mini notebook. Paper size is 3x5 card cut in half. Yellow felt sewn into a star pattern then beaded and sealed. Black fabric for the end pages on stiffened felt cover with silver eyelet and binder ring. Original and one of a kind. :)

Jirachi

My kids are on a Pokemon kick and Mia begged me to make her a Jirachi mascot. I free hand cut the felt so it's a bit wonky but still...she loves it, that's all that matters. :)
